Under certain conditions, a PhD student may conduct a mission of expertise in an extra-academic environment (company, territorial community, administration, public institution, association or foundation).
This allows him or her to develop his skills for a maximum duration of 32 days per year. Such missions can have various purposes (expertise, audit, consultancy, technological monitoring, feasibility study, various studies, tool development) and is not necessarily directly related to the PhD student’s research project.
This allows a PhD student:
- to use his or her skills in a context other than that of your research laboratory
- to expand his or her professional network
- to prepare for his or her professional integration…
- and for companies and laboratories, for example, to initiate a partnership…
