Doctorate

To register for a doctorate, you must have a national master’s degree or equivalent. Provided by doctoral schools, the training is generally completed over three years and ends with a thesis defense, an examination which leads to the title of Doctor (PhD).

The thesis is supervised by a thesis director, holder of an Accreditation to Supervise Research (HDR). Some thesis may be subjected to an international joint supervision, resulting from an agreement between two universities.
